Vale Dr Iris Depaz

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Dr Iris Depaz. Dr Depaz was a scientist, leader, and a beloved member of our community. Her contributions to the field of life sciences, particularly through her work at Sanofi and the Translational Science Hub, have left an indelible mark.

We extend our heartfelt sympathies to her family, Dr Chris Booth and their children, during this difficult time. Our thoughts are also with her dedicated team at Sanofi and the Translational Science Hub, who have lost not only a leader but also a mentor and a friend.

Dr Depaz passed away after the cancer she overcame in 2017 returned, and her family have requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the RBW Foundation. 

Dr Depaz’s legacy will continue to inspire and drive innovation in our field. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know and work with her.
