Congratulations to the six winners of the State Government-funded tickets to BIO 2024 in San Diego.
Department of Environment, Science and Innovation Deputy Director General, Innovation, Lea Diffey, announced the winners at the official Queensland BIO Delegation briefing at Parliament House on 22 May.
The winners are:

🎟️ BiomeCentric (Mr Shaun Roux, Director)
🎟️ Gelomics (Dr Christoph Meinert, CEO)
🎟️ Bio BKN (Dr Bhanu Manickavasagam, CEO)
Life Sciences Queensland partnered with the Office of the Queensland Chief Entrepreneur and Advance Queensland to award the six funded tickets to early-stage Queensland-based biotech or medtech businesses after a competitives election process.
The funded tickets provide the recipients with an exceptional opportunity to raise the profile of their businesses on a global stage.
The annual BIO InternationalConvention in the United States is the most important networking and knowledge-sharing event in the biotechnology industry, attracting more than 16,000 representatives from 70-plus countries.
This year is the 25th year Queensland has sent a delegation to BIO.
